Midweek Roundup 10.14

Another week down and another week of amazing releases. Jordan Brand gave us some sneaky heat this weekend, while Nike gave us a new Lebron 18 in the midst of Lebron and the Los Angeles Lakers closing out the NBA Finals. Adidas said don’t count them out of the basketball game and gave us a new colorway in the Yeezy QNTM. Not heavy in quantity this week, but definitely a week of quality.

Jordan Brand has been giving us heat, week after week and this week is no different. The Air Jordan Retro 3 “Blue Cement” adds another insane colorway to the already amazing Jordan 3 line. This sneaker comes in an all-royal blue upper with the signature elephant print overlays on the toe and heel. The look is very closer to the DJ Khaled’s limited “Another One” Retro 3 from 2018. Also coming this week, Jordan Brand continued its’ ongoing relationship with Paris Saint-German with the “PSG” Air Jordan IV. The Parisian soccer team is well represented with a clean white upper and Bordeaux accents. Special PSG x Jordan branding is stamped on the heel to make this shoe pop. The smaller sizes also got some love this weekend with the Big Kids Air Jordan V “Pink Foam”. This Air Jordan V colorway is exclusive for the little ones. These sport a nice white upper with nice red detailing and pastel pink netting and on each side panel.

The NBA Finals were in full swing, up until the Lakers closed it out with the Miami Heat. The Lebron 18 “James Gang” hit the scene last Friday, as Lebron and the Lakers acquired the Lakers 17th NBA title. This pair is meant to honor LeBron James’ wife, Savannah, and his three children, Bronny, Bryce, and Zhuri. This sneaker features a black upper with multicolored hits on the tongue, heel, and rubber sole.

Adidas is still trying to make a push on the basketball scene, with the Adidas Yeezy QNTM “Ophani” releasing this weekend. This pair is almost identical to the OG pair released in February, with the exception of teal blue stripes streaking down each side panel. We are still waiting for an Adidas athlete to bless the court with these one day. Hopefully we get to see a pair soon because these are too nice to stay on the sidelines.
Again, not a heavy quantity week but the quality is unmatched. With the year winding down, we are already getting previews of releases scheduled for 2020. The “Grinch” Kobe 6 and the “South Beach” Lebron 8 are both rumored and these will be the most anticipated of that sneaker calendar. So be sure to stay tuned for all new sneaker releases as they surface and as always, Good Hunting !
