Weekly Round Up 8.16

Another week down and although we didn’t get the quantity, we definitely got the quality. August has been a crazy month, and with the announcement of Mamba Week, it will be getting even more exciting.

The last colorway of the Nike Adapt BB 2.0 “Tie- Dye” hit the scene Thursday. We have seen these in the bubble quite a few times on players, like Aja Wilson and Arike Ogunbowale. These are dressed in a translucent upper with a rainbow tie-dye underlay. The icy sole sets these off, and with the leather heel, these are perfect for the court. This self-lacing model is the future of basketball sneaks, so be sure that there will be more to come.

Jordan Brand and the Jordan 1 High has been in heavy rotation as of late and we are here for it. The Jordan 1 Zoom “Zen Green” hit retailers on Friday and didn’t last long on shelves (or online) for long. Very similar to the “Brut” Nike SB dunk high from 2007, this sneaker includes a green suede upper with black overlays, and a silver swoosh. For a price tag of $175, these can be added to your closet, but hurry, they definitely won’t be around long. Also from Jordan Brand, the “Ghost Green” or “Bel-Air” Jordan Retro 5 hit the streets. With an all-white upper and the Bel-Airesque features along the sneaker, this 90’s inspired sneaker was definitely a highlight of the weekend.

With a European release happening a few weeks ago, a lot of us thought we wouldn’t be able to get our hands on the “Australia” Nike Presto, but we got a chance this weekend and we can’t be happier about it. Originally released at the summer Olympics of the year 2000, these are among some of the rarest prestos around. This pair is almost completely identical to the pairs given out, back at the Olympics. With a solid green upper and yellow accent and the AUS branding on the tongue and heel.

Reebok and Eric Emanuel come in with another dope collab that dropped exclusively on ericemanuel.com. This go-round, the designer is releasing four colorways of the Club C. Each features a white upper with his signature EE on the logo heel tab inside. The first colorway is paying homage to his alma mater, Syracuse University, and the others will drop in later weeks. Check for these online for a price tag of $110.

Definitely a week of quality over quantity. But don’t worry, the end of August will be insane and give us all a run for our money.
