Could Satou Sabally be the next WNBA athlete to sign with Jordan Brand?

The 2020 virtual draft is officially in the books and we’ve still got a few unanswered sneaker questions. Less than 24-hours before the draft a video of Satou Sabally’s brother showing off a plethora of Jordan’s surfaced on Instagram and raised a couple of eyebrows, not to mention he did tag Satou in the post.

In this year’s draft, Satou was taken as the second overall pick by the Dallas Wings right behind her college teammate Sabrina Ionescu. This was the first time in Oregon history two Ducks were selected back-to-back in the WNBA draft.

On draft night we broke the story first that Sabrina will be taking her sneaker talents to Nike after wearing the brand throughout her college career.

As far as for Satou the verdict is still out. Many speculate that she may be coming closer to solidifying something with Jordan Brand after another draft night picture featured Satou in the unreleased Air Jordan 1 “Royal Toe” colorway which is set to release on May 9th at select retailers for a price of $170 USD.
