Another day, another dunk! I’m here today with a short review of the newly released, Nike Dunk Low SP ‘Samba’.
Since the colorway is a GR (General Release), there are no hidden details or extras to them. They come in a standard red and white Nike box, with one factory set of white laces. The upper is all-leather, which was quite a surprise, because judging from the photos, I was sure the grey panels would be nubuck. Probably the unexpected bit is pink glitter on the navy panels, which sparkle nicely in the light. There is also a ‘3D’ pattern on the swoosh and back tab.

This release is from the standard Nike Sportswear line, so the pair features a thinner tongue and padding. There is also less cushioning under the heel. All this actually makes it a nice and light shoe, great for summer or autumn.

Samba Dunks were among the less-hyped ones, so if you are looking to purchase a pair, there shouldn’t be any problems with availability on the market. I can’t stress enough how essential dunks are in everyone’s wardrobe – it’s a total must-have for me.
