Top 10 Sneakerhead List (2020) #4: Arike Ogunbowale

Why Arike?

By putting the investment on her back for her hometown, Milwaukee, as well as many other communities, Arike has become a focal part of the nonprofit organization, ‘More Than A Vote’ – understanding that her purpose and platform, walk hand-in-hand. Recognizing the power in that, she chose to support voting reform to combat suppression within black and brown communities. Not only that, but she stays with the heat on her feet, courtesy of Nike.

“We want to help educate and energize our hometown of Milwaukee, and the communities we impact. Let’s be louder than we’ve ever been, and that starts with being registered to vote.”
