Nike Air Max 1, Call Me Susan

Inspired by the new comedy adventure, Missing Link, from LAIKA, comes the latest addition to the Air Max family. Air Susan marries the spirit of the Air Max 1 with the unique sensibilities of a stop motion animation studio. Out of that collaboration comes pure imagination.

After all the nice Air Max 1 collaborations that Nike has been blessing us within the past years comes a time for another great pair of kicks: Air Max 1 x Missing Link also called Air Max 1 Susan. It’s another partnership between Nike and animation studio LAIKA. These sneakers already released in US April 12, however, only now coming to Europe this month.

The colorway is based on the main character in the movie Missing Link –  Mr Link. The shoes are made to resemble his outfit and are definitely a hot release for all the Air Max heads (and not only!).

All the crazy details make this shoe stick out among others. Cork insoles (watch out as they will probably fit different), leather midsole and tongue, Air Susan patches on tongues, cuff links and an abundance of fabrics. For me personally, there here will be a challenge to style but I do appreciate their uniqueness.

If you’re still after a pair, here is your chance: watch out on StockX as the prices may drop or find a European plug.
