Vans x Offspring Herring-BONE

It is always great to see brands collaborate with sneaker shops because such projects are unique and close to the hearts of local communities.

Here’s some Europe-exclusive heat for all Vans fans. The company has just partnered with a London-based sneaker store, Offspring, to bring us some nice summer trainers. The freshly released Herring-Bone pack consists of Slip On 98 Reissue and Era 95 Reissue, complemented by an apparel option.

Offspring is a London-based sneaker store, that has been putting in work for over a year now, to create a true sneaker community for people who want to wear their latest pickups, rather than resell them. They create a great family atmosphere, organize Saturday pick up events (including outfit battles, limited tote bags or toys) and what’s even more important, all their initiatives are from sneakerheads to other true sneakerheads.

This collaboration is full of the smallest details that make it special. The Herring-Bone motif is inspired by Vans archives, as well as vintage Vans found in Japanese Thrift Stores. Both sneaker models feature OFFSPRING de-bossed on the sides of outsoles, as well as logos merging a skull and crossbones, with Offspring logo.

The same logo can be found on the chest, as well as one of the sleeves of the oversized black long sleeve that comes with the pack. Additionally, it includes a sleeve-long ‘COMMUNITY’ slogan on the other arm, as a way of showcasing the Offspring’s relationship with the sneakerheads.

It is always great to see brands collaborate with sneaker shops because such projects are unique and close to the hearts of local communities.

I would personally rock the Eras, what about you?

To grab your pair, head over to Offspring online where the majority of sizes are still available.
