Weekly Roundup 8.22

A chill week in the sneaker world but there were a few must-haves in the mix. A lot of us wanted Exclusive Access on the Off White x Nike Dunk Low and others decided to put our eggs in other baskets. It was a week of great collabs and the Dunk and Air Force 1 wave doesn’t seem to be slowing down.

The Dunk craze definitely isn’t going anywhere anytime soon. This week alone, there were multiple different colorways released and each sold out in seconds. Two of the newest colorways came for the ladies and give a vintage feel to the Nike Dunk Low. Both with white leather uppers and accented with over-dyed leather overlays that mimic the sneakers being a little worn. Color-changing laces and suede swooshes add more flare to the “Purple Pulse” and “Yellow Strike” options. Another “Multi-Camo” Dunk Low hit retailers this weekend, but this time in a black leather upper and multiple different camo prints throughout. The mismatched uppers include digi, woodland, and tiger camo, with olive green accents on the swoosh and outsole.

Aleali May has been killing the game with her Jordan collabs for a few years now and this week is no different. The Aleali May x Jordan 14 Low “Fortune” brought out one of the slickest Jordan models and incorporated details inspired by her black and Filipina roots. The jade green and gold midsole are inspired by the first piece of jewelry Aleali received from her grandmother and all brought together by the model, based on luxury in the Jordan 14. This sneaker is a must and represents tradition, the elite, and family. Completing this collab, Aleali’s signature is featured on the insole of the shoe and the packaging is one of a kind. The newest Jordan 12 hit shelves and this sneaker is perfect for the winter ahead. The Air Jordan 12 “Utility” comes in an all-black leather upper, nubuck mudguard, and mesh tongue with red detailing. A unique feature of this sneaker is that the sustainable outsole is made from 3% Nike grind material.

Other notable releases this week were the Bad Bunny x Adidas Forum Buckle Low “Back to School”, the Yeezy Boost 350 V2 “Light”, and the Nike Dunk High 1985 “Red Acid Wash”. Tag us in your latest cops! We would love to see what everyone is grabbing and hear the success stories of the weekly hunt. As always, continue to rise, grind and buy sneakers. Stay tuned for the latest sneaker info and tunnel pics, with only a few weeks of the WNBA season remaining.
