Latest New Balance 990 Pickup

I’ve always thought New Balance was just a sports brand that had little to offer to sneakerheads. Well, I was wrong. The brand has been doing exceptionally well in the past couple of years, getting more and more attention and convincing more and more collectors to its’ products. I’ve been into sneakers for about 10 years now and just this year, got my first pair – New Balance 990.

It is probably the most popular model from NB in the streetwear culture right now. It’s comfy, it’s trendy and the quality is great too. People have been praising it so much, I had to check it out myself. The 990 model has seen 5 generations so far and the one that I got is v4.

The silhouette is really nice, however, quite wide once you put them on. The quality is absolutely on point, the fabrics are soft and you can tell they are built to last. That’s what you’d expect for paying quite a steep retail price for them anyway and seeing that Made in USA label. Surprising they are actually made in the USA.

When it comes to sizing, I stayed true to my size and I’m happy with that choice. The sneakers are comfy, but are not very soft or cushioning, but it may be a matter of breaking into them. I imagine the shoes could go well with anything and there’s an abundance of styles you could try out.

The most hyped colorway is the light grey one, but you can get other options for below retail if you’re patient enough. Once you buy them, you will not regret your decision – I can promise you that. So what are you waiting for? Go ahead and spend that cash!
