Weekend Round-Up: What Did You Cop?

The week is coming to a close and May has been crazy with the sneaker releases and this week is no different!

Nike is going release crazy this week with a number of sneakers hitting retailers and the SNRKS app.

The Women’s Air Jordan OG “University Blue” is the next up for this model and these do not disappoint. These pay homage to Jordan’s old stomping grounds, “The North Carolina Tar Heels”, and these are made for the hardwood. Made for performance and style, the OG is made to bless the court and I’m hoping we get a few players to kill these once the WNBA season kicks off.

Also from Nike, we get the Nike Air Presto “Red Orbit” based off of the Korean national team uniforms, and these will definitely turn a few heads. This colorway well definitely perfect for your t-shirt, vinyl shorts, and dad hat vibe this summer. These come with a tiger-striped upper, red and blue fading cage and the South Korean flag on the back.

Also hitting the scene over the weekend we got the Nike Air Max 90 “Green Camo”. With this being the 30th anniversary of the Air Max 90, Nike is giving us some gems and new colorways and these are amazing! The bright green pops off of the OG model and the camo adds a nice detail to the retro runner we all love.

And finally, Media Day is huge around sports and usually, the stars pull out their best gear for the media and the cameras. Lebron wore a crazy Laker inspired colorway of the Lebron 7 and social media went crazy asking for a release. Well, it has arrived. This weekend, Saturday, May 16th, the Lebron 7 “Media Day” will hit the streets and the net. Price tagged at $200, these are a must for any basketball fan and fan of the LA Lakers and a must for the upcoming summer.

Good hunting and as always, rise grind and buy sneakers.
