The LA Sparks are hard at work on a mission to secure a win in the upcoming game this Friday, May 28th, against Chicago Sky. Yesterday we spotted Kristi Toliver, with an exclusive pair of Kobe 5, P.E.’s on Feet. Today we had a chance to ask her about them.
After practice, she sat down for a few minutes for questions. We congratulated her on her new assist record. And we wanted to know the inspiration behind the Kobe 5’s. Kristi laughed and held up her sneakers to the camera. She said, “you mean these? I mean Nike always does a good job of hooking me up. You known I’ve worn Kobe’s since I’ve been in the league. It’s a very special shoe to me and they always design mine accordingly. So I know that my sneaker game this year is gonna be strong. But you know, the color scheme and all that, I love teal, I love having that in our uniform, and I am really happy with how it came out but I didn’t expect anything less.” This is a really amazing shoe. I am sure plenty of sneaker lovers would love to get their hands on these eventually.
We will be tapped in to Friday’s night game and be keeping our eyes on Kristi’s sneaker heat.
