Jordan Brand Commemorates “The Last Dance” with the release of the Jordan 2

In honor of the premiere of the ESPN series, “The Last Dance”, here is a look at the Jordan 2. Made in Italy and designed by Bruce Kilgore, this sneaker made its debut in 1986, in the white/ red colorway and the others to follow in 1987 for a price of $105.

According to sales, the AJ2 is just as popular as the AJ1, but I doubt if most people would agree. The AJ2 is said to be the only retro that isn’t “fully” like the original and this is because the original mold was either stolen or destroyed. Also, the AJ2 features no swooshes but were retro with “Nike” on the back tab. Jordan went crazy in the 1986 season averaging 23 points per game and showing the league that he was here to stay!

My favorite sneakers are the Jordan 2, Jordan 14, and the Air Max 1. I hoop in my spare time (and anytime I can) and any Kobe is my go to on the court. Rise Grind and Buy Sneakers.
