Las Vegas Aces Center JiSu Park To Sit Out 2020 Season To Train In South Korea

LAS VEGAS (May 7, 2020)—Las Vegas Aces General Manager Dan Padover announced today that third-year center JiSu Park will sit out the 2020 WNBA season to train in her native South Korea this summer.

“JiSu has been the ultimate professional and a tremendous teammate over the last two years,” said Head Coach and President of Basketball Operations Bill Laimbeer. “We know she will spend the rest of the year working tirelessly, and look forward to welcoming her back to the Aces for the 2021 season.”

Las Vegas acquired Park from the Minnesota Lynx in a 2018 draft-day trade. In two years with the Aces, the 21-year-old has played in 57 games, starting 11, while averaging 1.9 points and 2.4 rebounds per game.
