With July and this crazy summer coming to an end, you would think that the releases would slow down, but we are getting the complete opposite. Brands are hitting us with bigger and better releases than the last, and we are here for it. A lot of us are still recovering for the L’s taken this past weekend but hopefully, we can have some better luck this weekend.
Nike and King James are giving us two new colorways in the Lebron 17 “Graffiti”. With the restart of the NBA season faster approaching, we should be getting a lot more from Nike basketball in the near future and these are no disappointment. The “Fire Red” and “Cold Blue” colorways keep with the Graffiti theme, based off the Lebron 4 “Graffiti” with a little extra flare. Nike is also giving us two-anniversary pairs of the Air Max 1, and OG “Hunter Green” and the “Anniversary Orange”. The “Hunter Green” colorway throws it all the way back to 1987, while the “Anniversary Orange” reminds us of the “Holland” colorway from 2010. These are Tinker designed and approved, so you know these won’t sit long. Nike is also bringing another collab with Stussy, with the Nike Air Kukini x Stussy. This drop is insane and is also occupied by Nike Benassi slides and apparel.
Jordan Brand is also coming out strong with two colorways in the Jordan XXXIV. The on-court colorways for these are crazy! Kia Nurse debuted a crazy Statue of Liberty colorway for the New York Liberty media day. This week, we get the “Noah” PE and “Zoo” PE. The “Noah” PE is an ode to Zion Williamson’s younger stepbrother. With crayon scribbles done by Noah himself and a heartfelt message on the insoles, these are great for a closet. These release exclusively at Sneaker Politics and then worldwide shortly after. The “Zoo” Jordan 34 PE belongs to Jayson Tatum, and is a representation of his son’s, Deuce, love for animals. Recently we saw Jayson reading a bedtime story to Deuce, featuring different animals and themes, and these shoes show the love he has for his son, with what he enjoys. This shoe even represents Tatum’s hometown of St. Louis, with “Lou” in red on the sneaker. Check for these at Concept early this week and on SNKRS this weekend.
