INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Fever announced today Auction for Action, an effort that is part of the team’s #FEVER4CHANGE initiative, will tip off this Saturday, August 15, and continue through the end of the Fever season.

Through Auction for Action, Fever players will wear custom sneakers throughout the 2020 season to be auctioned off at season’s end. Proceeds from the auctions will be directed to organizations advocating for social justice. The auction will open on Saturday at 9 a.m. here: https://qtego.net/qlink/feverbball.

The auction will close to the public on Thursday, October 15. Fever forwards Candice Dupree and Stephanie Mavunga, as well as guard Kathleen Doyle have already unveiled their sneaker design.

“It is important for our team to make sure we go beyond just educating and spreading awareness of social injustice.” Fever veteran Natalie Achonwa stated, “We wanted to create initiatives that provide support to organizations that are working to make actual change.”

REBOUNDS4CHANGE, another component of the #FEVER4CHANGE effort, gives fans the chance to pledge support for nonprofits for every rebound the team tallies each game.
