Preseason is in full effect for the WNBA. The Atlanta Dream were on the road yesterday, with Coach Petersen heading team, had a winning score of 87 to 80 over the Washington Mystics. The top scorers for the Dream were Monique Billings with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 1 assist and Odyssey Sims also with 13 points, 2 rebounds and 1 assist.

After the game, I asked Odyssey how she was feeling about the momentum of the game. She said that, “the Dream started off a little slow, it’s still training camp, and we are still learning each other.” She feels like they have a lot to fix. “But we are happy; we aren’t nearly as half as good, as they can or will be. We still have a lot of things to clean up, still a little rough around the edges, but we are just going to get back, and practice and get ready for the first game.”
