CONNECTICUT SUN HOST FIRST-EVER SUN FUN FEST AT MOHEGAN SUN SUMMER ENTRANCE

The Connecticut Sun announced that they will be putting on a community event, Sun Fun Fest, in an effort to raise funds for the Connecticut Sun Foundation. This event will take place on Sunday, August 22, 2021, from 12 pm-4 pm, and will be located at the Summer Entrance at Mohegan Sun.

The Connecticut Sun Foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of Connecticut’s youth by supporting athletic and educational endeavors.

This event is free and open to the public. As part of the event, there will be food trucks in attendance along with a cash bar. Plus, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase some vintage memorabilia, team gear, and a few other surprise items. All proceeds from the sale will go to the Sun Foundation.

Connecticut Sun players and coaching staff will be in attendance starting at 2 pm. Throughout the event, entertainment will be provided by team DJ Cory Giles, the mascot Blaze, and members of the Solar Power Dance Team. This event will also include special guests during the afternoon taking part in the dunk tank.
