The Sparks also announced a new broadcast team for the 25th Anniversary season. The play-by-play announcer will be Rahshaun Haylock, who is currently a reporter with KTLA and has done television and radio play-by-play for USC and Long Beach State women’s basketball.

Serving as analyst will be Ros Gold-Onwude, an Emmy Award-winning reporter and analyst. Gold-Onwude has held positions as analyst for the Pac-12 Network and the New York Liberty, as well as NBA sideline reporter for Turner and the Golden State Warriors. Gold-Onwude has covered the NBA and WNBA nationally for ESPN and has appeared regularly as a host on First Take with Stephen A. Smith and Max Kellerman. She played for Tara VanDerveer at Stanford alongside Nneka Ogwumike.

Spectrum SportsNet’s Allie Clifton also will serve as an analyst, joining Haylock after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games in August.  In addition to serving as studio host of SportsNet’s Award-winning Access SportsNet Lakers studio team, veteran sports reporter Clifton is co-host of the newly launched “Lakeshow” podcast alongside SportsNet’s Chris McGee and Mike Bresnahan.
