Aleali May Takes Flight With Air Jordan Again

Aleali May is back with another Air Jordan collaboration and it’s just great to see a new project from her. May is showing yet again, that she did not come to play. This time we will be seeing an Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT model, which means Zoom system in the sole and lightweight materials, giving you that extra cushioning and broken-in feeling while walking.

The shoes are kept in a royal blue/pine green/sail colorway complimented with a mix of materials: wings logo made out of chenille, swoosh and collar out of satin and the rest of the shoes made out of what looks like high quality leather. The left sneaker also features May’s autograph, embossed on the back, while the chic leather tongues are decorated with an ‘A’ letter on the lace keepers.

You can definitely expect the shoes to be lightweight and more comfortable, compared to classic Air Jordan 1s because of the Zoom insoles and thinner materials used.

As a Jordan 1 collector, I have to admit these definitely are creative and different. I will try to get a pair and might possibly try to customize the satin parts, to give them even more character. However, I have a feeling I will need lots of luck to secure a pair for a retail price!
