Celebrating Valentine’s with Nike

Per tradition, Nike is giving us our annual Valentine’s Day-themed sneakers. This year’s releases consist of 3 different Air Force 1 Lows and an Air Force 1 Low x Air Max 90 pack. Both silhouettes are very classic with lots of history and there is definitely lots to choose from.

The first Air Forces are probably the simplest, as they feature a mostly white leather upper, with hints of sail on the swooshes and soles. The most important detail of this pair is the red and sail heart, with a Swoosh logo stitched to the lateral heel. Fresh!

The next AF1s are also kept in all-white leather, however, the back tab and rubber swooshes are in a light shade of pink. This release has love messages creatively hidden within the shoes. The ‘Love For All’ motto is incorporated in the swooshes, as well as other love slogans located on the insoles. They also feature pictograms to resemble laundry instructions.

The third Air Force 1 is also from the ‘Love For All’ line, but it’s kept in darker shades. All the details are the same as for the previous pair and the only difference is this one features burgundy leather panels.

Last, but not least, we have the Air Force 1 and Air Max 90 pack. The shoes are made to look like twins – both have almost identical color-blocking consisting of mostly white and pink with red swooshes on the sides. The pink panels are made of suede, while white parts are leather.

There are a few nice touches to this release, one of them being the tongue label that you can unbutton and see swooshes in hearts as well as ‘True Love Since ‘82’ text. Both pairs also have a red Nike Air logo on the back with a heart instead of a dot above the ‘I’ letter. A cool detail in the Air Force 1s are the heart-shaped perforations on the toeboxes – I absolutely LOVE them.

All the above pairs are set to drop before February 14, so you actually get a chance to rock these fresh in time for V-Day. These releases look super exciting and it doesn’t matter whether you’re single or taken, just spread the love and get yourself a pair.
