Nike Sacai Vaporwaffle | Black Gum + White Sail

Sneaker enthusiasts don’t seem to get enough of the Vaporwaffle Sacai’s as yet another 2
colorways dropped last month and sold out instantly – the White Sail and Black Gum.
I was lucky enough to secure a pair of White Sails in my size and am super excited about this
purchase. Let’s look at the shoes a bit closer. The sneakers come in an orange slide-out Nike box and have custom Sacai paper inside. As soon as you unwrap them, you won’t feel any regrets about your purchase. The unusual and modern design of these definitely catches an eye.

The Sacai Vaporwaffles are a great sneaker for spring and summer. The upper is made
mostly of nylon and some leather, so the shoes feel very light. They come with an extra set
of oval white laces, which I haven’t tried out yet, but they definitely look like a great option.
Quality-wise, I think the paint job could have been executed a bit better, but I am happy with
the fabrics and stitching.

I went for my usual size and the shoes fit well. I think if I really wanted to, I could also get
them 0.5 size smaller, especially because I’m sure they will get roomier as I wear them. What
struck me the most is how incredibly comfortable they are – one of my coziest sneakers in
the rotation. As it’s common with this model, the prices on the market are steep, but I hope we get to see
more colorways soon as I am desperate for another pair and the Vaporwaffles definitely hit
the spot.
