What’s New From adidas

Summer is coming to end. Time to shift a little into your windbreakers, jeans, and your favorite long-sleeved tee. adidas is giving us multiple ways to revise our closets and get ready for the weather change and the new season. Yeezy Day is the first of these major drops giving us a chance to grab a few oldies and a few new releases on August 1st and 2nd. We are also getting another drop on the adidas x Gucci collaboration with the premier of the Women’s adidas x Gucci GG Gazelle hitting Confirmed for a retail price of $1,290 with other sneakers to follow.

Kobe Bryant’s legacy spans so many brands and his adidas run was ahead of its’ time. The adidas Crazy 97 EQT is one of those shoes that is a must for any hoop fan. This shoe is inspired by the throwback jerseys of the Cleveland Cavaliers, the city that hosted the 1997 NBA All-Star Game and where Kobe won the dunk contest his rookie year. The flashy sneaker comes in a metallic upper with orange and blue accents. The 3 stripes appear in white on the lateral side and the pull-tab on the tongue features the adidas logo with 1997 stitched inside. The Crazy 97 EQT uses Feet You Wear technology, which is designed to mimic your foot anatomically with the curves and shape of the foot.

With the release of Beyoncé’s highly anticipated 7th studio album, Renaissance, we also got a chance to grab her from her latest installment from her collaboration with adidas, the “Ivy Topia” collection dropped with brand new footwear and apparel. Featuring a brand new Stan Smith, Ultraboost 22, and a Superstar Mule, this drop accompanied the album release perfectly and was right on time. The Ivy Park x adidas Ultraboost 22 features a cream knit upper with silver and neon yellow accenting all over. Co-branding on the tongue tag, external cage, and heel counter gives this shoe more neon yellow pop, and the full- length Boost makes this shoe one of the most comfortable around.

We have seen the Dame 8, the latest in the Dame Dolla line, recently. Continuing the legacy of one of the league’s best closers with four new colorways. We got to see these bless the hardwood this summer! Chelsea Gray of the Las Vegas Aces has been on a tear lately in a Player Exclusive Dame 8! Gray’s playmaking and passing already make her stand out on the court, but this sneaker elevates that to a whole different level. I wonder if we will get another PE for the Commissioner Cup MVP.

With summer winding down and fall on the horizon, be sure to check out adidas.com and the Confirmed app for the latest releases and deals to stack your fall and winter wardrobe. Continue to check here for the hottest releases and news and special promotions on all things adidas!
