Weekly Roundup 5.2

The WNBA preseason has officially begun! With the season approaching fast, we are already seeing PEs (player exclusives) from our favorite players. Team Jordan has added some new flavor and Nike and A’ja Wilson have already shown us multiple crazy colorways in the Nike Cosmic Unity. Adidas is adding rookie heat and we are anxiously waiting to see what the 3 stripes has in store. Team Reebok representatives have new homes but we know Ty Young and Lexie Brown will bring major heat as the season gets going. Releases are heating up also as we approach the mid way part of the year and we have much much more in store.

Travis Scott and Jordan has taken the shoe game by storm over the last few years. Travis Scott has been dubbed the greatest influencer of our time, and it’s hard denying that fact when anything he touches is gold. Some say he is the cause for the Nike SB and Nike Dunk craze and his collabs with Nike and Jordan have been almost untouchable. This week, we got a chance to pick up the Travis Scott x Jordan Retro 6 “British Khaki”. With every Cactus Jack collab, this Retro 6 comes with a super clean khaki upper with bright crimson highlights and accents. Pairs have been seen for going as high as $700 on resell apps, making these even harder to put our hands on. Also from Jordan Brand this week, the famed “Flint” Jordan 13 received a nice color change that none of us were made about. The Air Jordan Retro 13 “Red Flint” hit SNKRS and retailers this past weekend and these did not disappoint. The upper is made of a red reflective mesh, clean white leather, and Flint Durabuck. The Jordan 13 line is a fan favorite and these were added to a long line of amazing colorways in this iconic Jordan sneaker.

Nike and Lebron has a busy week and give us multiple releases from the King. Originally a PE, fans finally were able to grab one of the most sort after Lebron 8s this week, the Lebron 8 “Hardwood Classic”. Worn by Lebron back in 2011, this shoe paid homage to the blue and orange jersey worn by the 1987 Cleveland Cavaliers. Also, paying homage to Lebron’s new home the LA Lakers, Nike give us a chance to grab the Nike Air Max 95 x Lebron “Home Team”. This sneaker comes with a mismatched flavor with a black mesh and gold upper left shoe and a black mesh and purple upper right shoe. The numbers “2” and “3” located and then forefoot of the sneaker referencing Lebron’s jersey number. These were done on SNRKS by a drawing during Lebron Watch so stay tuned, because we have gotten release dates on multiple crazy Lebron sneakers.

Other notables releases this week were the: Air Jordan Retro 4 “University Blue”; Sacai x Nike VaporWaffle; Nike Lebron 18 low “Lebronold Palmer”; and the Billionaire Boyz Club x Reebok Pump Fury. SNKRS and Nike have moved to mostly drawings to try and combat with bots and Adidas and other sneaker brands have went to similar strategies to try and help the average person grab some of these hot releases. Some good part of the sneaker world feels it is too far gone, but others are trying to adapt and keep pushing. Week after week, we can only put our best foot forward and keep up the good hunt. Remember to always rise, grind and buy sneakers. Plus, stay tuned for more release information.
