Essence put a pen to paper, to channel her pain into purpose. With her own track titled, “Conversations Pt. 1”, she dug deep into the reality of existing as black woman, in this climate, and what that truly means, on a daily basis. In addition, she has used her voice and platform to advocate for social justice and voting reform within communities. She wears many hats, and still finds a way to come with a crazy Nike collection. Salute to that consistency throughout time, so she definitely had to clinch the #2 spot.
