Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Satin Snake’

The Air Jordan 1 hype does not seem to be finishing anytime soon and the basketball giant is making sure we know it. Just recently, another women’s exclusive Jordan 1 colorway released. The Satin Snake edition is kept in a Gym Red/Black/White colorway, with a black snakeskin-textured swoosh and back panels. After scoring the Air Jordan 4 x Off White, I was quite surprised to get a win on SNKRS app again, but here it is – another cool pair in my hands, ready to be reviewed.

The shoes come in a red and black Nike box, which in this case matches the sneakers perfectly. The red leather is very pigmented and contrasts well with the white and black panels, so you will definitely turn heads as you walk down the street. The tongue, collar lining and insoles, are covered in satin to give you that nice luxurious touch. What I especially like about this release is the thicker double-layered laces, as they make this pair even more fun.

If you’re desperate for a pair of Chicago 1’s after watching ‘The Last Dance’, these Satin Snakes will probably be the closest you can get for a reasonable price. The sneakers come with spare red and white laces too, so you can swap them as you please. I have personally seen them with white laces and will definitely try that on my pair as well!

Make sure to remember that these run a bit snugger, as it’s women’s sizing and once you grab a pair, show it to us by tagging @MadeForTheW on social media!
