Air Jordan 3 ‘Cool Grey’

Jordan Brand has been treating us well recently by bringing back so many retros of classic releases. The next hot drop on the radar is Air Jordan 3 Cool Grey.

I’ve never been a huge fan of the model, however, there are certain colorways that I just NEED (Cool Grey being one of them, obviously). The shoes last released in 2007 and I’m sure many sneakerheads were impatiently waiting to put their hands on a fresh pair.

The shoebox is a bit different to your usual AJ3 box, as it is kept in grey and the elephant print is located vertically rather than horizontally like it used to.

The shoes themselves look great in person, the color is very nice and will go well with many outfits. I may not be objective since I love gray shoes, but these ones are just great!

The only detail I’m unhappy with is the padding, or rather lack thereof. I compared the Cool Greys to my 2018 Black Cements and the difference is clearly visible. Cool Greys’ collar is thinner, there is less sponge inside, however, it doesn’t affect the comfort that much, so shouldn’t be a problem in a long term.

If you don’t have a pair of Jordan 3’s in your collection and are wondering which size to take, I usually go for my true size which is 8.5 US. The Cool Greys in this size seem a bit tight, however, I know that once I properly break into them, they will just be perfect.
