Weekly Roundup 3.6

Hello March! Time for new goals, new accomplishments, and time to cop some new heat ! With All-Star weekend hitting the great city of Atlanta, we got a chance for some new, crazy colorways, some OG bangers, and a few collabs that are a must. This isn’t your typical All-Star weekend, all the events happened on one day, so the releases were random. That means, keep a sharp eye out, because you never know what may happen.

In 1991, Dee Brown won the All-Star Dunk Contest with a wide range of crazy dunks but the most memorable dunk had the No Look Dunk that sealed him the win. Before the dunk, Brown “pumped up” his Reebok Pump Omni and took flight. Every kid, from that day on, wanted the “Pumps” and re-enacted that dunk as much as they could. Well now, 30 years later, we get a chance to put our hands on the OG Reebok Pump Omni Zone II. Brown’s daughter, Lexi Brown of the Minnesota Lynx, is the head of the campaign and relaunch and this is really a crazy full circle moment. The OG Pump hit Reebok.com and didn’t sit long at all. Selling out in minutes, but don’t give up. I feel a restock in the near future.

Nike is still riding the Dunk wave and it seems to not be letting up anytime soon. This week, the Nike Dunk Low “City Market” hit the scene and we also got a chance to grab the Nike Dunk High “Dark Curry”. Supreme hit us with another collab with the Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low. These Dunks are apart of Supreme’s Spring/ Summer collection and gives us four colorways in the Nike SB. The color options for this sneaker come in blue, brown, green, and black. Each pair comes in a clean croc pattern for the overlays and stars spread throughout the midsole.

Jordan Brand always brings the heat on the highly anticipated weekend and this week, the Air Jordan 1 Retro OG High “University Blue”. The latest in the “University Blue” version of the popular Air Jordan 1, these had sites crashing even before the release at 9 am CST. The Jordan 1 will never get old. Resell for these are already up to $400 plus, so I hope the release was good to you.

Other notable releases are the Adidas Yeezy 450 “Cloud White” which finally made its’ debut after a long-awaited release. Not the usual All-Star weekend, but the weekend still brought its’ normal lure and amazing releases. March is scheduled to be a crazy month so stay tuned and as always, rise, grind and buy sneakers.
