Weekly Roundup 9.21

We are in the first week of Fall and the year is already going by fast! Already more than halfway through September, and the releases are only getting better and better. With both bubbles in full swing and all football back in action, we are getting release, left and right, while hoping for some Good Hunting.

The Fragment x Jordan Retro 3 is the second collab from Hiroshi Fujiwara, with the first being the highly sought after Retro 1 High. This pair is laced with a clean white upper with a black mudguard. Fragment’s signature lighting bolt logo appears on the the lateral heel and also on the translucent heel tab. The Retro 3 is already one of the top Jordan’s in the collection and this collab is right at the top of the list. Also coming from Jordan Brand this weekend, we get our hands on the Jordan Retro 14 “Hyper Royal”. One of my personal faves, the Jordan 14, is best known for the “Last Shot” but this shoe never disappoints. The “Hyper Royal” 14 comes in an all-white upper with blue accents and tabs. You can say these are a representation of Jordan’s years with the Washington Wizards or a color play on the “Candy Cane” 14s, but either way, these are a pair that are a must for the closet.

Nike has been busy as always this weekend, with quite a few releases coming our way. Dunks have taken off, over the last few months and this week, we get a chance to grab the Nike Dunk High “Spartan Green”. Sticking with the university colors, these are a great nod towards the Michigan State Spartans. Nike has shown a lot of love to the Nike Dunk as of late, and as always, these didn’t sit long at all and left us wanting more. Another personal favorite of mine is the Air Max 1, and this weekend, the Air Max 1 “Limeade” hit the scene, inspired by the “Powerwall” series back in 2006. With an all-green upper and the reflective “Air” pattern on the quarter panel, these are definitely a head turner and perfect for a chill fall evening with the crew. Kyrie and his signature line has been a hit since the Kyrie 1. With collaborations with General Mills cereal, Spongebob, and others – the Nike Kyrie line has always been amazing for on and off the court. The Kybrid S2 “What The” is the next wave of Kyrie’s signature line and these are a must cop. This pair fuses elements from the past few signature models together, such as pieces from the Kyrie 6, Kyrie 5, Kyrie 4, as well as the Real Tree camo from the “Taco PE” and the tie dye from the “All Star” Kyrie 4. Taking that into accord, these are nothing short of a must. Recently, Sue Bird blessed the entire Seattle Storm team with pairs of this sneaker and the reactions were priceless.

Adidas and Yeezy brand are still goin strong with releases and this week, the Adidas Yeezy Boost 380 “Pepper” is up next. Reflective and non-reflective versions are both up for grabs, so you have a choice on which pair you want to hit the ground with. These are amazingly comfortable and perfect for the upcoming fall autumn weather.

It is officially Fall and releases are going to continue getting bigger and bigger, as we near closer to the holiday season. Keep your ear to the streets and stay tuned for more release info in the future, and as always – rise, grind and buy sneakers.
