The Los Angeles Sparks announced today the launch of an exclusive and limited branded clothing collection in partnership with LegacyHistoryPride (LHP). LHP showcases lifestyle and classic vintage clothing for Historically Black Colleges and Universities to raise awareness and strengthen the pride of the HBCU community.
The LA Sparks and the WNBA provide a platform for players to bring authentic change and meaning to communities through expression of culture and individual style. Like the LA Sparks, LHP also shares their legacy with the community through fashion and storytelling.
LegacyHistoryPride was founded by Tahir “Mr. Legacy” Murray during his junior year at Howard University. As a third-generation apparel entrepreneur and recent 2021 graduate, Tahir is on a mission to re-energize the passion for HBCUs.
As a part of this unique partnership, the LA Sparks will donate a portion of LHP sales to underserved west coast students interested in visiting and attending HBCU schools. Visit the LA Sparks Store to view the collection.
