adidas Forum Return x Bad Bunny

Just a year or two ago, not too many people would be interested in the adidas Forum model, despite it having been in existence for decades. However, the German brand has been bringing many new colorways and collaborations out, causing the model to be back on the sneakerheads’ radar.

I’ve always been a fan of the Mid silhouette, as it has this universal retro look to it and is actually a comfy daily shoe. You can imagine how happy I was when I heard these were being brought back and that a really cool collab is underway.

Bad Bunny is a Puerto Rican rapper and he has just sealed a partnership with adidas by showcasing their latest collaboration: the adidas Forum Buckle Low.

The model, dubbed The First Café, is kept in shades of brown and draws inspiration from a cup of coffee. There are many details making this release even tastier. The most visible bit is the extra tongue that can be clipped into the original one. The shoes also come with extra blue and yellow black-dotted laces, which are a great contrast to the brown upper. There are triple-layered heel tabs and a special pull string on the back of the shoes. You also get a white dustbag with adidas and Bad Bunny logo on.

The rapper can be spotted wearing the Forums in his ‘Yo Visto Así’ (I Dress Like This) music video and the name of the track is also embroidered on the straps of the shoes. The straps themselves, in addition to the usual Velcro patches, also come with buckles.

While I’m a tea person myself, I am absolutely excited for this release and will be getting a pair cause it’s just soooo fire! The adidas x Bad Bunny Forum Buckle Low is set to drop on March 17th in adidas CONFIRMED app, so get your money ready!
