Aleali May X Jordan 6 NRG (exclusive)

What’s doper than the GOT ‘EM notification when you cop a MOST coveted sneaker you want from Nike? What’s doper;  is that exclusive access. I knew I wanted to cop and must HAVE the Aleali May Millennial Pink Jordan 6 NRG. When I got the notification, EXCLUSIVE ACCESS,  on my phone; they were waiting for me to cop, I was very excited. The Millennial Pink Jordan 6’s were one of the most anticipated drops of 2019. This is a sneaker curated by women, for women and I see guys on Instagram that want to cop.

Yes, the Aleali May Jordan 6 is very pink-some sneakerheads don’t appreciate pink sneakers. BUT it was deeper than that for me. Aleali May is one of the very few women that has designed sneakers for Jordan Brand. Yes, she has released dope Jordan 1’s and her style is amazing. But the Iconic Jordan 6 AND in Pink took this sneaker over the edge as a must-have sneaker.

Jordan 6’s are always a MUST have in a sneakerhead line up.  In 1991 Jordan (Tinker Hatfield) dropped the most coveted iconic colorway, the black Jordan Infrared 6’s. And of course, we know that many colorways would follow, but no colorways that add up to those  Black Infrared’s. The release of the 2019 Jordan 6 Infrared’s is supposed to be as close as possible to the 1991 Retro’s. If you copped, what do you think? My personal Jordan 6’s below and my old Slam Picture too!

Aleali May paid homage to the Original Jordan 6 Infrared’s. From my understanding, the Jordan 6 is one of her favorite Jordan Brand Silhouette’s. The Pink gave us just the feminine touch the sneaker needed, the Infrared Piping set it off and a Jordan 6 is always a must-have sneakers.  It’s even deeper than an homage to the ever-popular Jordan 6 Infrared’s, it’s about celebrating a woman who designs exclusives for other women and that other women can appreciate. It’s dope to see Aleali’s flip on the sneaker and make it her own. It’s super cool that WE get to be a part of that history.
