Weekly Roundup 2.21

Another week of crazy releases and the return of some long sort after classics. It was a crazy one with winter storms, icy roads, late trucks, and fights at release locations.

Jordan Brand has not came to play, starting the year off with some classics. The Jordan Retro 3 “Cool Grey” returned after its original release back in 2007. Some have been looking for a pair in good condition for years and now we get a chance to pick up a fresh pair. With a clean grey upper, a red Jumpman stamped in the heel and tongue, and orange eyelets makes this sneaker pop. Definitely a must, but now the question is, will we ever get the “Harbor Blue” and the “Do The Right Thing” 3’s in the next coming years? We also got a release on the Women’s Air Jordan 1 “Silver Toe”. The ladies have been getting a lot of exclusive heat and it is really cool to see retailers catering to the ladies and giving them a chance to cop these women’s exclusives. Sometimes, the ladies are left out of rare and specialty releases, so let the ladies have this one guys. They deserve it.

The Nike Dunk has been a movement on its’ own since last year and it is nowhere near slowing down. This week, three Nike Dunk Lows hit retailers and SNKRS, and like the others, didn’t sit long. A grey and red “UNLV”, black and blue “Hyper Cobalt”, and a crazy baby blue and white “UCLA” themed colorway all came our way and just like the others, if you didn’t get a hand on a pair, good luck finding them for retail. The Dunk Low “Coast” is going for $400+ currently on StockX, so it seems the Dunk craze is here to stay.

This week had a release almost every day, so a lot of us had to make some hard decisions. For some, a Dunk is something you can’t pass on. For others, the Retro 3 was something that had to be added to the closet. Other notable releases this week were the next wave from Hot Ones x Reebok and the another colorway in the ongoing partnership between Jordan Brand x PSG, with the Air Jordan Zoom 1 “PSG”. As always, rise, grind, keep buying sneakers and looking forward to this week and weekend. Good Hunting!
