Engineered for the next generation of Positionless basketball players who refuse to be defined on or off the court, Converse introduces the All Star BB Shift – the newest basketball silhouette in the brand’s ever-blossoming lineup of performance offerings.
With the All Star BB Shift, Converse embraces the ‘Positionless’ player who can run spots one through five on the court. The player who gets buckets but won’t be dropped into one. They are more than a hooper. They are a gamechanger.
Just as the Converse basketball player refuses to be defined, so too does the silhouette, which will see a relentless flow of colorways and player exclusives painted onto its canvas. Converse has partnered with its basketball roster to create an unprecedented collection of PEs that allow for ultimate self-expression and storytelling. Similarly, a vast collection of inline colorways helps ensure every player at every level can stand out.
Ultimately, Converse delivers one silhouette with infinite possibilities.
The BB Shift features a robust performance and technology portfolio constructed around three tentpoles – control, weight, and lockdown – which combined allow for self-expression on the hardwood, the blacktop, or wherever the game takes you.
Control speed is anchored by a Nike Air Zoom technology in the forefoot for a responsive sensation, a TPU shield for lateral containment, over lasted construction for enhanced court traction, and a multi-direction outsole that helps players stay in control. Lightweight support is buoyed by leno weave pods, which also optimize breathability, as well as a textile and synthetic leather upper that helps you stand out on and off the court.
Players can move confidently on any surface with a padded collar secures the heel and ankle, while a customizable lace system locks you in while retaining the flexibility to support a self-expressive style of play.
The All Star BB Shift will be available February 28 in a global release at Converse.com, and select retailers.
