With June just beginning, adidas has given us a lot of options to prepare for the summer. Tees, slides, hats, and all kinds of dope sneakers have hit retailers and adidas.com over the past few days giving us multiple options to flip our style from the chill spring to the hot summer.
Yeezy and adidas have been extremely busy over the last couple of weeks. Releasing everything from the Foam Runner to the Yeezy BSKTBL Knit hoop shoe. The “Onyx” Foam RNNR was first seen exclusively at the Donda 2 album listening party a few months back. Pictures and videos surfaced of fans copping pairs of the exclusive foam runner and slide in the all-black “Onyx” colorway and had us all waiting and wondering would this sneaker get a more widespread release. Well, on the 8th, this sneaker hit the Confirmed app and sold out in seconds. Nothing new when it comes to the foam runners. Each colorway sells out almost immediately, and resell can average between $250-$350 debating on the colorway. So it is safe to say, this is one of the hottest shoes of the summer.
Adidas and the designer brand Gucci are bringing us a high-end collaboration this year, with both apparel and sneakers. Jersey tees, track jackets, bucket hats, jumpsuits, and much more are included in this collab. With this, adidas and Gucci gave us a spin on an old-school classic, the adidas Gazelle. The collab includes seven different colorways in the classic model, some being seen already by celebs on red carpets. Each pair includes the classic Gucci color pattern with snakeskin, suede, or leather, and the velvet G-monogram. Keeping the classic gum bottom, these will also have co-branding in the tongue, heels, and insoles. Catch these for a price tag of $850 each! They will be released on the adidas Confirmed app and Gucci.com.
A few other headliners coming from adidas is the Yeezy 380 “Onyx”, the Yeezy 380 “Calcite Glow”, Yeezy Foam RNNR “Desert Sand”, and the Adidas Yeezy Boost 700 “Hi-Res Red”.
